Bio

I have started and Pastor 2 independent Baptist Churches in the Elkins WV area. I have served both churches as a bi-vocational Pastor. My profession in the public workforce has been in the mental healthcare field. I have a BS in Biblical Counseling from Louisiana Baptist University, MA in Marriage and Family Counseling from Liberty University. I also had earlier studies from the Grand Rapids School of Bible and Music (now Cornerstone University), graduating with a four-year diploma (1978) with a major in Pastoral Theology and minor in Youth Ministries. I am a licensed professional counselor, licensed social worker, and ordained licensed Pastor. I have 7 children, 12 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren and am happily married for 25 years to my dear wife Brenda. I have lived in the Elkins area since 1981. In addition to ministering in the two churches I started, I also owned and operated a custom picture framing business, started and currently operate a private Christian academy, a ministry to homeless and needy families, and an international ministry to third world countries. Throughout the years my wife, children, and I have been very involved in our community in many capacities. We are very invested in the families of our community and have ministered to many families over the years of service we have committed to our community.
