Thursday, November 23rd Thanksgiving Day outside Van Andel Arena

The Mini Trot for children 12 and under starts at 8:10 followed by the My Team Triumph at 8:27 and the 5K Run/Walk begins at 8:30 am

The Grand Rapids Public Schools and the GRPS Foundation gear up for the 2023 Turkey Trot, a family-friendly 5k event that directly benefits GRPS student athletes.

Please join us in support of our 31^st Annual Grand Rapids Turkey Trot, presented by Blue Care Network of Michigan. 

This annual event has become one of the largest Thanksgiving Day experiences in West Michigan, with typical participation of over 4,000 runners. We will start and finish in front of the Van Andel Arena as well as offering the virtual option once again. The morning begins at 8:10 am with the LMCU Mini Trot, a fun run for children 12 and under, followed by My Team Triumph, and the 5K community run/walk.
